Matt Cusson and Elan Trotman perform at Blues Alley

June 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Singer-Songwriter Matt Cusson and Saxophonist Elan Trotman will join forces for performances at Washington D.C.'s Blues Alley Jazz and Supper Club on August 2, 2011 for two performances (8pm and 10pm).

Both Berklee College of Music alumni are taking time away from their extensive summer tour schedules to mark the event at the established jazz club.

Soulful singer and pianist Matt Cusson who released a plush arrangement (orchestrated by the prolific Bill Meyers) this past year of his award-winning composition "One Of Those Nights" (March 8, 2011), also released the duet entitled "Same Old Song" as a single from the highly successful "Matt Cusson" CD which featured Javier Colon of NBC Television's  "The Voice" competition.

Contemporary saxophonist Elan Trotman is quickly becoming a radio favorite with diversified audiences, offering the Urban AC "Midnight Serenade" featuring vocals by R&B singer Tony Terry, and the Smooth Jazz selection, "Heaven In Your Eyes" (featuring keyboardist Brian Simpson) - from his latest"Love and Sax" CD.
The album is currently number 20 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Charts.
