June 15, 2011 - PRLog -- The HTC Sensation is taking the business world by storm. It is a smartphone developed by the Taiwanese company HTC,  the same producers of the phenomenal 2007 HTC Touch, the first smartphone to enable users to access applications with just a sweep of their fingertips.

Admittedly, the laptop is already a convenient device to begin with; it's infinitely preferable over the desktop PC. Although the ancient, bulky type of laptops are still around today, computer manufacturers have started to make smaller laptops that eventually evolved into what we now know as a tablet PC. This has a variety of uses. For those who are working, it enables them to access their contacts, as well as download, review, and edit their files. It is also a source of entertainment for those who are very much into games and music. Since they're Wi-Fi enabled, movie buffs can enjoy watching movies online via video streaming. This is all well and good, but it was made better through the invention of smartphones.

The first smartphone was introduced by IBM in 1992. The idea behind it was to combine the functions of a computer and mobile phone in one efficient device. Companies, like the makers of HTC Sensation, worked on this concept to develop the father of all palm computers: the PDA. Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's) have a touch screen instead of a boring LCD display and are much better than a laptop because they are pocket-sized and absolutely portable. The PDA does not have major battery-life issues that most laptops have. It also functions as a phone, which allowed users to work and communicate at  the same time.

The HTC Sensation is a much upgraded version of a PDA because it practically allows one to have his office in the palm of his hands. The HTC Sensation has efficient internet connectivity at 14 Mbps, which is comparable to the speed of cable-internet. With its 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor, it can accommodate Windows 7, Vista, and XP applications, so business professionals won't have problems with accessing, downloading, and editing Microsoft Office applications. The battery can also last for a maximum of 525 hours and can withstand approximately eight hours of talk time. That means savvy professionals won't need to worry about having to charge their battery for a phone-based presentation immediately after a long business call. By the way, that's one of the many perks of the HTC Sensation: being able to prepare emergency company presentations while they are out of the office, so they can be back in time to plug in and impress their bosses with a well-prepared presentation.

The HTC Sensation, or HTC Sense as it is fondly-called by some, has started to revolutionize the way people do their work. Back then, mid-level executives always had to have their laptop – case, charger, and all – on hand for business presentations over lunch meetings. Most laptops are too bulky to bring around and some do not last long enough without being plugged to the nearest power source. With this device executives won't have to carry a huge laptop bag for company presentations because this smartphone can do the job for them. Indeed, the HTC Sensation has made business and living much easier.
