Las Vegas, Nevada: June 6, 2011

The hottest news in the dry cleaning business in decades was the toast of the town in Las Vegas! SYSTEMK4 was introduced to the world in October 2010 however; the official unveiling to the United States of SYSTEMK4 this week proved to be a huge hit.

Cleaners and distributors from all over the United States, Canada, Nigeria, Kuwait, Finland, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Australia and China stopped by the Kreussler Inc. booth to discuss SYSTEMK4. The biggest highlight of the week was the Educational Session on Monday, June 6 from 5:00 – 6:45 pm.  The standing room only crowd of approximately 400 attended a session that was designed with the new customer in mind and to answer any questions as well as dispel myths regarding SYSTEMK4.

Richard Fitzpatrick, Vice President of Kreussler Inc, was responsible for leading the field testing of SYSTEMK4 in the United States and has been working closely with the Kreussler GmbH in Germany, Italian machine manufacturers as well as dry cleaners in the US using SYSTEMK4. Richard kicked off the session by bringing to light a few of the rumors that have been circulating regarding SYSTEMK4 specifically: SYSTEMK4 does NOT contain formaldehyde, SYSTEMK4 does not leave an odor on garments that are properly processed and SYSTEMK4 is extremely stable with a flashpoint of 144.

Dr. Manfred Seiter, Head of Research and Development of Kreussler GmbH in Germany and the brilliant mind behind the chemistry team that developed SYSTEMK4, gave a technical presentation on the chemical characteristics and properties of SYSTEMK4. Most notably mentioned by Dr. Seiter, was that SYSTEMK4 has been tested to clean as well as PERC, is completely safe and classified as non-toxic with no hazardous rating.  The US Patent application is pending and the worldwide patent has been approved for SOLVONK4.

The marketing presentation purveyed Kreussler’s attention to detail and goal to meet its customer’s needs with a brand new campaign: Powered by SYSTEMK4. Dry cleaners are very well branded as well as respected by their customer and community and do not need to be re-branded but supported by Kreussler in their efforts. Kreussler will be providing a marketing package to its SYSTEMK4 users which will include posters, hangtags, window clings and other items with an eco-friendly message to let customers know that their cleaner has gone green. Choosing SYSTEMK4 is making the choice to be a truly green cleaner and is the first step towards sustainability and environmental conservancy. 100% transparency is the best way to gain new green consumers and retain them as future customers.

Richard Fitzpatrick led a panel of current SYSTEMK4 users from all over the United States and the audience has full access with a live microphone to ask all their questions about SYSTEMK4. On the panel were: Mark Gadue of Gadue’s Dry Cleaners, Michael Rose of Vogue Cleaners, Jim Desjardins of Daisy Cleaners, Gary Maloney of Nu-Yale Cleaners and Dan DelRossi of Tiffany Cleaners. Between this esteemed panel of dry cleaning experts lies approximately 120 years of experience in the industry. A few of the highlighted questions:

•Is it difficult to implement a change to SYSTEMK4? No
•What kind of mileage do you get with SYSTEMK4? 4,000 – 5,000 pound cleaned per gallon of SYSTEMK4 compared with 800 – 900 pounds with PERC and 1,000 – 1,500 pounds for other alternative solvents.
•How many machines are running SYSTEMK4?  approximately 60 machines in the US and more than 100 worldwide.

Kreussler’s innovative alternative dry cleaning process SYSTEMK4, is manufactured in Germany includes four unique solvents, SOLVONK4 (a halogen-free solvent), a brushing agent, a detergent concentrate and a water and stain repellant agent.  The basic component of SYSTEMK4 is formed in such a way that it poses no threat to the air, water, people or soil. And here lies the huge innovative potential of SYSTEMK4: the solvent SOLVONK4 has the same cleaning effect as perchloroethylene or PERC, to some extent even better. At the same time, SOLVONK4 is neither a hazardous material nor a hazardous substance according to the current laws in Europe.  These products enable users to meet the variety of cleaning needs that today’s textiles require.
