Feel the Rhythm June 16th at Art Walk Las Olas

June 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Fort Lauderdale –Music, Dance, Art and Cinematography are just a few of the cultural centerpieces of this month’s Art Walk Las Olas; June 16th from 6-10pm.  Attendees will feel the rhythm of the boulevard dancing at the world’s largest outdoor Zumba, interacting with 8 different pop up performances, and be awe inspired by award winning local filmmaker Tim Gorski’s global cinema presentation.  Over 25 different shops will also participate with in-store events and specials as our bars and restaurants introduce Three Olives Code Red, the official cocktail of Art Walk Las Olas.

Studio 350 presents World’s Largest Outdoor Zumba Live!
Come be inspired by Latin Dance, move fast, and have fun as we attempt to break the record for the world’s biggest outdoor Zumba! Free Zumba class taught by famed instructors Domingos Sobrinho, Jhon Gonzalez and Ariel Wade on the Riverside Hotel Lawn from 6-8:30 Zumba Live! Is open to the public but space limited to 200 people.  Call Studio 350 at 954-641-4141 to reserve a spot OR be spontaneous & join the crowd that night on the lawn.  All participants are entered to win a free month at Studio 350. Check in starts at 6:00pm.
Twilight Features Presents:  Upper Room Art Gallery & Global Friends Short Films from Award Winning Ft. Lauderdale Filmmaker Tim Gorski.  
This film presentation highlights some of the global images and inspirations that have motivated and propelled Tim’s career. Beautiful, vivid images of the streets of India & the Antarctica deep sea broadcast against the backdrop of downtown Ft. Lauderdale are sure to inspire and intrigue.  Local Documentarian Gorski has an MFA in film from Miami University of Art & Design and has worked in film and television collecting 14 Best Documentary, 2 Best Cinematography, and 1 Telly Award.  Tim also has taught at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale.  This work is truly an inspiration to all artists and creatives with big dreams and the passion to explore their art.  Free admission & seating available. on the Riverside Lawn 8:30pm – 10pm
Heart Gallery of Broward - Pop-Up Gallery Debut
