Solodev Gives Back Through the Jason Foundation

June 9, 2011 - PRLog -- As a part of its commitment to community involvement and outreach, Solodev recently supported the Jason Foundation as a sponsor of that organization’s largest fundraiser, The Phillip Fulmer & Charlie Daniels Golf Classic. Solodev, a leading website design and software development company with a fully customizable website content management system, was a Par sponsor at the event in Nashville, Tenn. May 17.

In addition to its sponsorship of the event, representatives from Solodev also participated in the tournament at the Hermitage Golf Course. Former University of Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer was on hand, as was country music legend Charlie Daniels, who performed a concert for the attendees afterward.

“The folks at the Jason Foundation are doing a lot to help the youth of this nation and we are proud to support them,” said Shawn Moore, CEO of Solodev. “We had a wonderful time at the event and are pleased to hear it was a success. We look forward to participating again.”

The Jason Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs to equip young people, educators / youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth. A lot of the funds the organization relies on for its work are raised through this yearly event.

Solodev got involved with the Jason Foundation as a result of its partnership with one if its clients, Universal Health Services. UHS is one of the nation's largest and most respected healthcare management companies. It operates several behavioral health facilities and also helps support the Jason Foundation.
