Our Health of the Commonwealth a worthy stop for Frank Wolf

June 7, 2011 - PRLog -- WINCHESTER, VA (June 07, 2011)-Frank Wolf, the most senior member of the Virginia House of Representatives, will visit Our Health, a community non-profit organization of Winchester, on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Congressman Wolf is currently serving his eleventh term in the House of Representatives, where he represents the 10th District in the state, which reaches the vast and diverse area from Winchester to McLean.  Our Health will host the Congressman for a presentation, open forum session and tour of their Kendall Community Campus, after his lunch visit with Winchester Kiwanis Club.

Wolf was an integral part in securing support for the original phase of this community campus. Our Health Executive Director, Sharen Gromling, will focus on a current snapshot of Our Health and its mission, touching on the expansion of the campus, its many nonprofit partners and collaborative community partnerships.

A brief question and answer session with Congressman Wolf will be held after a presentation in the Eagle’s Board Room in the Our Health building. All guests including media are welcome to participate before guiding Congressman Wolf on a tour of the Snapp Foundry Building, phase two of the Our Health Kendall Community Campus, which was dedicated June 9, 2010.

Our Health, a non-profit community resource, affiliated with Valley Health, which supports agencies in the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Incorporated in 1999, an idea became a reality when a collaborative location became home for several area agencies in downtown Winchester. The campus was further expanded in 2010 when key public service agencies moved into the historically renovated Silver LEED certified Snapp Foundry Building. Our Health continues to create opportunities which elevate community involvement and commitments to the region.
