June 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Downtown Lawrenceville's First Fridays

First Fridays are a monthly shopping and dining celebration hosted on the first Friday of each month in downtown Lawrenceville. Lawrenceville's First Fridays will feature specials and extended hours from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at multiple shopping and dining venues throughout downtown. Participating businesses include Sparkle!, The LONA Gallery, Niko's Wine Corner, Rita's Italian Ice and Magnolias.
 
Special Offers for June 3:

Sparkle!: Sparkle! will have their very popular custom soldered pendants - you pick the art and they will solder it for you while you wait for $14 instead of the regular price of $20. PLUS it is the first KIDS CRAFT DAY! Drop in from 11a.m. - 1p.m. to make a memory wire necklace for just $15/kid.

The LONA Gallery: The LONA Gallery will feature a "Teacher Appreciation" event for June's First Friday. To show appreciation for your hard work and dedication, The LONA Gallery is honoring you with a reception.  There will be wine and delectable desserts along with specials and door prizes. All teachers and support staff of Lawrenceville schools are welcome!

Niko's Wine Corner: From 6-8 p.m., head over to Niko's for Nona Rosa's Pizzelles and Wine Tasting.  Nona Rosa's Kitchen offers hand-made Italian cookies called Pizzelles.  The Pizzelles come in a number of flavors and patterns, are light and crispy and a perfect accompaniment to wine tastings, home dinner parties and more. They will be pairing their most popular Pizzelles with some of the favorite wines in the shop.

Rita's Italian Ice: For the third year, Rita's Lawrenceville is proud to partner with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in the fight against childhood cancer.  For the entire month of June, Rita's will sell paper lemons for just $1.  For each donation, you will be entered to win 1 month of FREE Italian Ice. Also, stop by to try their newest creation, Strawberry Lemonade Ice.

Magnolias: Magnolia's will have a special sale on all  lamps
