May 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The award winning online learning company will be working in partnership with the Scottish Special Health Board to design and build a Modernising Nursing in the Community learning web-based toolkit.

The award winning online learning company will be working in partnership with the Scottish Special Health Board to design and build a Modernising Nursing in the Community learning web-based toolkit.

Speaking about the project, Jane Cantrell, Programme Director, from NES explained:

“Scottish government have requested that NES develop a toolkit as part of the Modernising Nursing in the Community Programme.  It will be targeted at NHS boards and their stakeholders to support service redesign and quality improvement, within the setting of community health partnerships.

The toolkit will be available through a new Modernising Nursing in the Community  website. The online web-resource allows key stakeholders to work together to identify elements for safe, effective and person centred nursing in the community. It will also allow us to capture key areas of development, tools and good practice to support the modernisation agenda.
The Modernising Nursing in the Community web resource will be available to all nurses throughout Scotland.”

Dr. Maureen Murphy, Managing Director of Aurion Learning said:

“We’re delighted that Aurion Learning has once again been given the opportunity to work with NES to deliver online learning resources for healthcare professionals in Scotland.

This innovative Modernising Nursing in the Community toolkit web-resource will be a repository of learning resources bringing together  learning tools, relevant information and policies, podcasts, videos, contacts and useful links.

It will be a key tool in assisting the important work of the Modernising Nursing in the Community Programme Board.”
