The UK Border Agency has made important changes to the ESOL provisions within the
'knowledge of language and life' requirement for people seeking settlement in the UK
and applying for British citizenship. These changes came into force on 7 April 2010.

From 7 April 2010, you must:
   have studied for your ESOL qualification at an 'accredited college'; and
   be able to demonstrate that you have progressed at least one level in order to obtain your qualification.

We teach you an ESOL with Citizenship course for 54 hours. You can do our course on a part time basis by studying and learning at a manageable pace. The course runs for a period of 12 weeks and is planned to be delivered over two 2 hours and 15 minute sessions totalling 4.5 hours a week depending on your level of English and your individual learning plan. The training and test is only in speaking and listening. We will also teach you citizenship from the Home Office citizenship pack. Our suitably qualified teachers will assess your level in the beginning and then make a learning plan for you. We will teach you until you progress to next level as per Home Office requirement.

With this ESOL certificate, we will also give you a confirmation letter for the Home Office confirming that, you have attended the ESOL Entry Level course with Citizenship Context and progressed to next level as per Home Office requirement. You can use the same certificate for both, your Indefinite Leave to Remain application and after that for your British Citizenship application. Our ESOL certificate and letter is from an approved examining body and our accredited college.

With our ESOL Citizenship course, you do not have to do Life in the UK Test.
For UK Citizenship Test training, our one fixed fee of £295 includes all the training, test, certificate and Home Office confirmation letter. If you do not pass the test, you pay £49.00 and attend 6 weeks training followed by a test (price includes the examination cost and administration fee of £25.00 plus vat).

Our ESOL citizenship classes in your area start every week. Classes are available on weekdays and weekends. We have flexible learning plans as per your individual needs.
