Local elementary school and automotive collision center team up for students

May 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Altoona, PA  – The Allegheny One Elementary School PTO recently held an event to help students learn more about the importance of choosing a healthy nutritious lifestyle. On May 2nd, 2011, the Allegheny One Elementary School PTO held its annual Walkathon and Wellness Fair at the school’s walking track,located in Hollidaysburg, where students were given the opportunity to explore various areas such as healthy nutrition, safety, hygiene and proper exercise techniques. All proceeds raised by the Walkathon will help fund field trips, after-school clubs, production of the yearbook and other functions throughout the school year.

When the PTO approached Professionals Auto Body, the businesswas more than happy to help contribute to the PTO’s event.“With local school districts across the area facing tough budget cuts, we are proud to help give back to our local schools and encourage all individuals and local businesses do the same” said owner Ron Perretta.  The business continually assists non-profit organizations and local athletic teams by purchasing sponsorships and hosting car washes at their sites.
