TE Branded releases "Pandoras Box" and "Yung and Fly"

“Big J” born and raised  on August 11, 1981, in Charlotte, NC. The Grier Heights Community also known as "Griertown" or "Stumptown" is where he resided. Straight out of the QC, or Queen City, J has seen it all and been through it all. His flow brought to the mic is very unique. A definite must hear individual with a good story to tell in his music has been his mindset.

His 2 cousins G-Boss, and T.Bailey also were born and raised in Griertown with him. G-Boss composed the idea of “Thug Essembly” which represents how the three individuals love to go wild, make music and hit the streets.  The word ‘assembly’, commonly meant a bugle call summoning troops to fall into ranks refers to “TE Branded.” When the time comes no member will hesitate to do what needs to be done no matter the situation.

As the years went by everyone started their families and disassemble slowly but still keeping Thug Essembly 'BRANDED in their hearts.' Big J noticed a new talent in his midst by the name of Mac.   The young and upcoming star named Yung Macnificent” was born May 4, 1986 in Charlotte and raised in the country of Waxhaw, NC..   Mac started producing back in early 2003 while in high school. Understanding his rough struggle in life with money, family and drugs is very important. He is the only producer for TE so every song they compose is Yung Mac produced. The beats Mac composes are exhilarating, unique, awe inspiring and definitely good for the ears and soul. Yung Mac never recognized his true talent but everyone around him surely did - not to mention, his shovel-deep relentless flow is a must hear when on the mic.

It is official that “Big J” and “Yung Macnificent” are the two holding the torch up for “TE Branded” right now, TE has awakened and is no doubt just what the world needs for its latest edition!

“Pandoras Box” by Big J
“Yung and Fly” by Yung Macnificent

“I wanted to bring a new type of feel to the music industry to let everybody know how creative and idealistic we are as a group”, states Big J.  

“I wanted to create a vibe that other young listeners and fans could relate to that feel they are young and fly or just fresh”, states Yung Macnificent.  

“Pandoras Box” is based on a Greek mythology when Zeus gave Pandora a box jar and told her not to open it under any circumstances and when she got impelled to open the by, evil had escaped and spread throughout the land leaving only hope inside the box jar.  Taking this concept and applying it to when a female finally gives in, it’s just like opening Pandoras box and surrendering to the circumstances.  This single is sexual in every aspect of the word; through its lyrics, vocals and overall delivery.  It has a quick tempo with smooth vocals that just ooze sex.   This is very enticing for many that make you want to hear more.  This single is off of the yet to be released CD titled “Remain Standin” which is slated for release sometime in 2012.

“Yung and Fly” was made for the young listeners in mind, telling them to be confident to what is self-gratifying.  Step outside the box and take the world by its core – make it yours and let no one stop you.    This single was chosen because of its high energy, high octane beat that entertains without missing one word in the lyrics.  This song has nice electronic technique applied.  It has a true cool beat – just makes you want to move.  It has catchy verses with a message.  This single is on Yung Macnificents’ yet to be released CD titled “History in Da Making” which is set for release sometime in 2012.  

Both artists’ sound has changed over the years.  Even since their last release titled “Last Man Standin’” (released in 2009), the difference is palpable.  Lessons were learned and knowledge on how to produce and market is on a completely different level now.

•   July 29, 2009  - Big J released his first full length album on iTunes entitled, “Last Man Standin”  produced entirely by Yung Macnificent.
•   OCTOBER 2ND, 2009 -  Big J released “Last Man Standin” on amazon.com
•   March 20, 2010 - TE Branded performed live at a show hosted by Pure Royalty Records in Atlanta, GA at Club Space Atlanta.
•   July 14, 2010 - TE Branded performed live at a show hosted by RnB Productions in Charlotte, NC at Wine Up.
•   July 20, 2010 - TE Branded’s Big J released his hit single on iTunes titled, “Shake Yo Body,” produced by Yung Macnificent.
•    July 28, 2010 - “Shake Yo Body,“ received airtime radio play on DS Radio in Florida with over 2000 spins. Hosted by DJ Hollywood.
•   September 4, 2010 - TE Branded live performance was demonstrated at Prevue Lounge in Charlotte, NC.
•   September 8, 2010 - TE Branded performed live at a show hosted by RnB Productions in Charlotte, NC at Wine Up.
•   September 26, 2010 - TE Branded performed live at the “Hip Hop Takeover” concert hosted by Gorilla Productions in Charlotte, NC at Tremont Music Hall.
•   February 8, 2011 - TE Branded’s Yung Macnificent released his debut mix tape entitled, “Country Strong,” produced entirely by Yung Macnificent.
