| Printing company Kestrel Press hosts Elite Ayrshire Business Circle meetingThe latest meeting of the Elite Ayrshire Business Circle was hosted by Ayrshire printing company Kestrel Press at their premises on South Newmoor Industrial Estate in Irvine.
Elite Ayrshire Business Circle executive chairman and Frazer Coogans Commercial Solicitors senior partner Norman Geddes presided over proceedings and introduced Kestrel Press directors Colin McCallum and Graeme Ferguson. Graeme gave a presentation about Kestrel Press past, present and future, and there followed a conducted tour of the company’s printing plant. Special guest at the meeting was Dr Charles Aryiku, Scotland’s first Honorary Consul-General for Ghana, who addressed the meeting about his plans for a Ghana/Scotland Trade Exhibition in Ayr Town Hall in September. A buffet breakfast for members and guests was provided by Irvine-based Tasteee Catering Services, who recently joined the Elite Ayrshire Business Circle. But the star of the show was undoubtedly Ayr-based singer Kelly Mathieson, who opened the meeting with a memorable rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserables”, and brought proceedings to a close with “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” from “Phantom of the Opera”. Elite Ayrshire Business Circle managing director Murdoch MacDonald commented: “This was truly an outstanding meeting, and our first to be held in Irvine. “We hope that many other companies from all parts of Ayrshire will follow the example of Kestrel Press and Tasteee Catering Services and join our ever-increasing membership.” Enquiries: Kestrel Press (Irvine) Ltd 25 Whittle Place South Newmoor Industrial Estate Irvine KA11 4HR Ayrshire, Scotland Contact: Graeme Ferguson Telephone: 01294 222222 Fax: 01294-222219 E-mail: gferguson@kestrelpress.com Web: http://www.kestrelpress.com Kestrel Press is a founder member of the Elite Ayrshire Business Circle.
