By: Samantha Scott “We are thrilled that BB&T-Oswald Trippe and Company chose Children’s Advocacy Center as this year’s partner agency. In addition to providing homework help, reading buddies, and arts and crafts to the children attending the Pine Manor After-School Program, BB&T-Oswald Trippe and Company volunteers will be renovating the East United Way House to transform its emergency food pantry into a choice market,” noted CEO, Jill Turner. “BB&T volunteers will be working with us beginning May 4th through June 3rd.” Since the beginning of the Lighthouse Project, BB&T employees have donated nearly 100,000 hours to help improve the lives of more than 3 million people in 25 states.
