Beit David Highland Lakes Shul to Host Rabbi Dr. Laibl Wolf

May 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Beit David Highland Lakes Shul, in Aventura, has announced that it will host a lecture by renowned speaker Rabbi Dr. Laibl Wolf LL.B M.Ed.Psych. D.Div. on May 18th. The lecture on Practical Kabbalah and Positive Psychology is entitled “Think Right, Speak Right, and Do Right – How to Create a New ScreenSaver of Your Mind”. During the lecture, Rabbi Wolf will provide strategies for mental strength, emotional maturity, and body wellness. These will include “Designing a new ‘screen-saver’ for consciousnesses”, developing a creative spiritual ambience within, coping mechanisms for stress and an understanding of ways of confronting your fears. He will draw on contemporary psychological and medical research, a well as teaching the ancient wisdoms of Kabbalah and Hassidism.
According to Rabbi Wolf, “‘My goal is to provide people with a personal empowerment to take back their lives from the clutches of fear-laden media projections and advertising, as well neutralizing the anxieties and stresses of a world sliding into economic meltdown and geo-political breakdown. I believe that wisdom teachings coupled with personal mind and body disciplines are the roadmap to healing an ailing society”.

About Rabbi Dr. Laibl Wolf: Often described as the Jewish synthesis of Deepak Chopra and Anthony Robbins, Rabbi Dr. Laibl Wolf of Australia, has been a spiritual mentor and a worldwide teacher of spirituality for a generation. His expertise blends contemporary positive psychology with ancient Kabbalah to facilitate a ‘behavioural’ approach to life training.

He is university trained in law and psychology, an unusual blend of Hassidic Rabbi and universal teacher, and is as much at home in a Buddhist ashram as he is in a synagogue.
