By: mike manning The Junior Wildcats FC, under the direction of club president Mike Manning and vice-president Tim Crompton, is a grassroots youth recreation soccer league in Ogden area, established with the purpose of giving kids a fun, high-quality soccer experience in a safe environment. The Jr. Wildcats FC is a non-profit volunteer organization and is directed at kids from the ages of 4-12. All coaches will be volunteer parents under the supervision of Mike Manning. “We are dedicated to giving each child a fun experience while learning the beautiful game,” Manning said. “We will have coaching classes for the parents and clinics for the kids.” Registration for the league will run from April 1 to mid-June and the teams will be grouped by what school the players go to. Cost of playing will be $70, which covers a uniform and includes the fall and spring seasons. Players and coaches from the Weber State University women’s soccer team and men’s soccer club will help in running clinics throughout the year, and all games will be played at Mt.
