Singlewire Announces New Outbound Email Plugin for Sending Notification with InformaCast

Singlewire InformaCast is a full-featured, network-based mass notification, emergency communication, and overhead paging system that allows users to simultaneously send an audio and/or text message to a variety of endpoints including IP speakers, Cisco IP phones, overhead paging systems, computer desktops, digital signage, SMS text, social media sites, and more. When configured with the Outbound Email plugin, you can expand the reach of an InformaCast broadcast.

The InformaCast Outbound Email plugin is used for sending email notification from InformaCast to any email address or distribution list established within an organization. Text from the InformaCast message will appear in the subject and body of an email, and an audio file can be attached as well.

Possible uses include: relaying an emergency overhead page made to a building or campus automatically to anyone in a remote location, sending an email to all business leaders when an emergency is triggered, or immediately forwarding weather warnings or emergencies when they are issued.
