ION Computer Systems® appoints Cameron Campbell as Director of Business Development

ION Computer Systems looks to increase sales of their SR-71 SpeedServer™ in the New York Metro area

May 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Seeking to accelerate the acceptance of the SR-71SpeedServer™ in the NY Metro area, ION has added Cameron Campbell as Director of Business Development. Cameron’s charter will be to promote the advantages the SR-71 SpeedServer™ innovative technology to those strapped with I/O performance issues, as well as demonstrating the total cost of ownership (TCO) over current technology.

Prior to joining ION Computer Systems, Cameron worked in the startup community advising a number of firms on enterprise business development, most notably spending two and a half years as a Business Development Executive with Intel® Capital. In this role, Cameron facilitated the introduction of new innovative technologies to many Fortune 500 clients, with a focus on the major Financial Services, Telecommunications and Cable Provider companies in North America. Prior to his business development work, Cameron worked for Intel Corporation's Sales and Marketing Group for 14 years as a Technical Marketing Engineer, helping to launch a number of innovative new technologies in the Server, Desktop, Mobile and Networking segments.
