Contemporary Youth Orchestra Presents Rock the Orchestra with Jefferson Starship

April 28, 2011 - PRLog -- JEFFERSON STARSHIP will perform classic hits, including "White Rabbit", "Volunteers", "Miracles", "Jane", and many more.

Tickets range in price from $15 to $55. There will be limited additional VIP Meet & Greet seating available at an additional cost where concertgoers may meet the band backstage for autographs and receive JEFFERSON STARSHIP souvenirs.

The concert will feature a live national broadcast and DVD release for international broadcast.

CYO's Rock the Orchestra series celebrates music education and the convergence of classical and poplular music. This educational endeavor gives students the opportunity to explore how an interest in popular music can be applied to classical music performance studies.
