Wildlife sanctuaries with their importance

But unlike human beings wild animals enjoy to protect their wildness in their own forests. Being inferior to them physically we always love to watch their wild activity in a protected area with certain distance and this area is called wildlife sanctuary.

Basically government of a country has made an effort to protect the wild animals in a particular area for their betterment. Here the animals should not struggle for their surviving. Here they get good protection, food, space for roaming and safe night for sleeping but lost their freedom to make their own moves. Jokes apart, basically Government has spent enough money to preserve these wildlife sanctuaries for their better living.

The purpose behind these wildlife sanctuaries is to balance our biological diversity of ecosystem. Here by protecting one creation of nature we are protecting the creator itself. In some animal sanctuaries there is a scope of rehabilitation for animals. Here the wounded and suffered animals get proper treatments and when they get well they are sent to another place. The real intention of animal sanctuaries is to keep the animals as wild as they are. Therefore human access is restricted to the animals.

There are different types of sanctuaries. Here we are giving you a brief notion of wild animal sanctuaries and farm animal sanctuaries.

In wild animal sanctuaries animals have been rescued from different private owners or sometimes from an abusive situation or from some situation where they are targeted for destroyed. Sometime animals are kept illegally or they have been abused by the so called notion of ‘pets’. Sometimes excess animals in zoo have been suffered badly for over breeding. In this situation wild animal sanctuaries have step forward to save those animals from their sufferings and provide habitat for them to survive.

Farm animal sanctuaries are formed to provide permanent home to ‘farm animal’. They are also known as ‘food animal’. They became the inseparable part of our daily life. But still we treat them as a source to fulfill our basic needs. By doing this we handle them very badly sometime. These farm animals always have been treated from economical perspective.

So to protect them from their sufferings farm animal sanctuaries come forward. They give them a good quality food to get the best quality food from them. Since these farm animals are the food providers therefore they need very good care to increase their productivity. If they get destroyed then human life would be at risk. So people have to understand that for their own survival they have to keep this farm animal in good condition.

Sanctuary is basically a haven for animals. Here they get the best facilities with permanent shelter. They can never be misused by human beings. They cannot be sold, bought or treaded. And the main goal of sanctuaries is to educate human being properly so that they can change their thoughts and attitudes towards animals. By giving importance to animal activity and behavior sanctuaries try to convey the message of equality that would bring the balance in natural diversity.
