BoardDocs® Subscribers Win “Sunny Award” For Transparency In Governance

The 2011 awards, given to 112 winners out of the more than 6000 organizations reviewed in the nation, recognize the best state and local government Web sites in America that exceeded transparency standards.  

Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Sunshine Review is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting transparency and proactive disclosure of data at the state and local levels. A “10 Point Transparency Checklist” is used to analyze state and local government Web sites.
