Alvano to Lead CFO Capital: CFO Systems Expands Corporate Financing Operations

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Mike Alvano returns to CFO Systems after a two-year absence to lead the financing division, CFO Capital.  Alvano is a 40-year veteran of the financial industry and has helped close deals totaling over $100 million.  He has a broad range of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.  Alvano (http://www.cfosystemsllc.com/mike-alvano) is an experienced executive and entrepreneur who brings strong negotiating skills and a proactive leadership style to the CFO Capital team.

Alvano started his career as a CPA working for several firms including KPMG.  He went on to take leadership roles at the Milton G. Waldbaum Company and GWR Investments, Inc. before founding his own consulting firm, Alvano Capital, in 1999.  Success as a consultant led him to be named as the interim CEO at the Reikes Distributing Company, a glass wholesaler.  As CEO he built a new sales team and restructured the company’s credit and banking relationships.

Alvano first joined CFO Systems in 2007 providing strategic planning leadership as an interim and time-share CFO for companies in a variety of industries.  He developed criteria for analyzing the productivity of a company as well of specific products.  Alvano then went on to serve as CFO for Perigon Networks, a web hosting company, where he oversaw the company’s first $1 million acquisition.
