Glaude Productions Client Cathelean Annette Steele Honored With Civil Rights Icon Award

April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA  - USA     Glaudé Productions Client Mrs. Cathelean Annette Steele received the distinguish Civil Rights Icon Award bestowed by Alicia Ivey's Phoenix Global Corporation as a highlight of their 2011 Legacy Ladies’ Tea on March 23, 2011 held in Atlanta, GA at the Piedmont Driving Club.

Cathelean Annette Steele is the spouse of Dr. Charles Steele, Jr., former CEO and President of The Southern Christian Leadership Council (SCLC), the organization founded by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Dr. and Mrs. Steele currently oversee Charles Steele and Associates (CSA), headquartered in Atlanta, GA – the daily operation of which is assisted by their daughter and son-in-law LeKeisha and Cleveland Ray; and national and global consultants.

Mrs. Steele was acknowledged by Phoenix Global Corporation in celebration of National Women’s History Month, honoring the achievements of leading women in the State of Georgia who have contributed significantly to the enrichment of their community, excelled in business, and changed the face of philanthropy. Mrs. Steele was singled out for her works while serving as the First Lady of SCLC and as chairperson for the 50th Anniversary Awards Gala honoring women nationally for their work in journalism.

Mrs. Steele received a Tiffany crystal plague inscribed with: The 2011 Legacy Ladies Tea Civil Rights Icon Award “Celebrating the Spirit of Legacy Ladies.”  Lady Annette Steele.

On receiving this significant honor from Phoenix Global Corporation, Mrs. Steele said, “It was quite an honor to be recognized for my works while serving as the First Lady of SCLC and the chairperson of the women’s division.”
