Art Journaling Technique #1
If These Walls Could Talk: Home Journaling by Lynn Whipple
Mixed-media artists that are looking for a new, exciting project to work on will be satisfied with this new free eBook. Lynn has created a personal art journaling technique by taking pages from one of her personalized journals, vintage photographs and pages from old books.  She constructed them in a way to form a house. Artists can build the house of their dreams, from pages of their own personal journals. Lynn’s directions are easy to follow and understand.

Art Journaling Technique #2
The Ubiquitous Muse of Visual Journaling by Violette
Visual journaling allows mixed media artists to find the connection between an image and a word. Violette believes using a Muse to find personal creation is the best way to succeed with visual journaling. With Violette’s tips, artists will be able to see possibilities of a new visual journaling page absolutely everywhere.

Art Journaling Technique #3
A Year Captured in Fabric by Tracie Lyn Huskamp
Tracie has come up with an art journaling technique that allows mixed media artists to take some creative time for them each week. Every week Tracie makes a new page to add to her homemade art journal. She uses white canvas duck cloth and muslin for her pages, because she wanted to use a strong fabric. When using strong fabrics to make pages for handmade journals,  artists will be able to use just about anything on their canvas, such as, paint, paper, ink, pastels, watercolor, glue, more fabric, metal, patinas, transfers, lace and much more. Tracie suggests not binding the pages together until the year is up.

Art Journaling Technique #4
A Paper Napkin Garden Journal by Sharon Tomlinson vegetarian
In this art journaling technique Sharon uses floral napkins as her main focal point. In order for the napkins to work for this technique artists need to use a substrate of their choice, such as, canvas, watercolor paper, envelopes, chipboard, boxes, wood and many other items. Sharon uses floral napkins for her own personal journal, because she loves to garden. Sharon’s detailed directions allow all mixed media artists to create custom journals that push their creativity.

Art Journaling Technique #5
Add Pattern to Journals with Zentangles and Transfers by Sandy Steen Bartholomew
This art journaling technique is inspired by everyday life. Sandy stumbled upon Zentangles, which is a term coined for drawing repetitive patterns as a way of meditation, a few years ago and it changed her life. Now everywhere she goes she sees patterns in everything. Sandy’s art journaling technique is easy to understand and follow. Every artist will be amazed by all of the patterns they can come up with.
