Widely known in the Non Profit organization arena is United American Patriots. They are a 501 (c)(3) organization whose diligent work and dedication has assisted many families in need. UAP is a Judeo-Christian organization that supports the Constitution of the United States, The Bill of Rights, and our democratically elected form of representative government. In June of 2006, United American Patriots established our Warrior Fund. This helps raise funds to help obtain legal counsel for our soldiers/ Marines who are being charged with “crimes during combat”. Please make it a point to read up on this. Read details on each case to keep up to date with what is happening. We encourage you to support United American Patriots with not only your tax deductible donation but to remain up to date with the cases!

Next, we have another organization by the name of Military Working Dogs, “Cooling Vest Project”. Temperatures sometimes reach as high as 140 degrees. The dogs cannot work for more than an hour to an hour-and-a-half before being completely exhausted. Our troops are provided with proper equipment but the dogs are our first line of defense in many situations. They’ve been forgotten and have no protection against the heat, blowing sands and rough terrain. Why Dogs? Starline said “I can’t physically protect my son, and all the other sons and daughters in Iraq. But I can help the dogs who do. These dedicated dogs do this service selflessly and with great courage. Whatever we can do to help them do their job easier is helping to protect our sons and daughters.” The community has opened their hearts to this project and have helped bring it to the news media and national attention through the newspaper and television. With the help of volunteers we’ve spoken at or had booths at the State and County fairs, Street Fairs, 4-H Clubs, Rotary and VFW meetings, lots of Dog Shows, Fish & Game Clubs, Search & Rescue Groups and worked with the Rolling Thunder Veterans Group and the Traveling Vietnam Wall Memorial.

In addition to these fantastic people and their organizations, we have a special veteran, Eugene Curry, a Marine suffering from Agent Orange exposure,  who started the group “Sprayed and Betrayed-Heroes destined to die”. This was created for Viet Nam Veterans, their families and supporters to have a place to post stories, gain friends and support and share your strengths, experience and hope regarding Agent Orange exposure and the deadly consequences our Veterans have battled since. This is a positive group created solely for the purpose of having a place for Veterans, their families and supporters to come and find information, friendship and support. They encourage each of our members to post information that they come across regarding agent orange exposure, to post stories about how it is affecting your life or how it affected your loved ones life.

Military With PTSD was started by Shawn Gourley in Aug. 2010 as a place to launch her book "The War At Home." Shawn wanted to help spouses prepare for when the soldiers came home and give them a understanding of what could really happen. But as the page grew it has turned into a support group for everyone that loved ones are affected by PTSD. Military with PTSD team is made up of veterans and spouses. There are no doctors or therapist, just a group of people trying to help others living with PTSD. With increasing number of our service men and women returning home afflicted with PTSD, this is an incredible opportunity for military families to learn about all facets of lives effected by PTSD.

Please remember in our last press release, we have many more fantastic people attending this nation wide concert:they include Solider Hard- The Voice, Sgt. Leo Dunson, Curtice Markley, DirtyBone, and Eric Golub. In addition we have combat veteran and Founder of the National Warfighter Symposium Boone Cutler,  Author of the book "Seal of Honor" Gary Williams, and the Author of the book " Good Soldiers on Trial", Dr.Stjepan Mestrovic. Of course the emcee for the event, Conservative Radio Talk Show Host Rick Amato and his regular co-host T.J. O'Hara! We will see you on 4/30/11 at 2pm sharp!
