Instructional Videos Now Available for "Stratus" Line of Family Games

April 4, 2011 - PRLog -- In order to reach a broader audience of board and card game enthusiasts, Stratus Games has released instructional videos for each current game title as an alternative to the standard written instructions already provided. Current titles include Gold Mine and Launch Pad, both released in the 4th quarter of 2010.

"Many of our customers, particularly those who prefer lighter family games as opposed to heavier strategy games, would rather view a visual demonstration of a game than study written instructions," remarked Stratus Games President, Chris James. "By creating these videos, we hope to narrow the gap for game enthusiasts of all backgrounds to experience the enjoyment our products have to offer."

In addition to instructional videos, shortened introductory videos have also been released in order to provide viewers with a general overview of each game. The videos are currently available on Youtube and Stratus Games' official website.

Gold Mine is a unique tile-laying game for 2 to 6 players in which players compete to gather as much gold as possible while excavating a maze of mine tunnels. Launch Pad is a card game for 2 to 4 players that allows players to build many types of retro-style rocket ships and get them ready for launch into outer space, while trying to avoid sabotage from competing players. Both games are 30 to 60 minutes in length and suitable for a family audience.

In addition to current titles, Stratus Games also plans to release videos for each future game release.
