New Tactical Shooting Mat Introduced by Wilderness Tactical Products Rolls Out New Precision Rifle D

March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ-- Wilderness Tactical Products, LLC is kicking off the new year with yet another new product introduction:  The Precision Rifle Deployment Pad.  Co-designed by famed Gunsite instructor, Giles Stock and the President of Wilderness Tactical Products, Ralph Holzhaus, the new, highly functional shooting mat aims to serve the needs of the law enforcement and military sniper communities nationwide.
Durably constructed of abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura® nylon fabric, the Precision Rifle Deployment Pad features a slim 1/8" closed-cell foam core that provides a lightweight moisture and temperature barrier without adding unnecessary bulk.  Ensuring a long lasting product that will weather years of use, all seams of the shooting mat are carefully multi-stitched at stress points, with only the highest quality materials are used throughout.
The Precision Rifle Deployment pad has a unique feature called the “bipod retention pocket” located at the front of the pad which conveniently allows the shooter to capture the rifle’s bipod legs and “load” the bipod by pushing the rifle forward lightly to create stabilizing tension.  Having the ability to stabilize the bipod within the actual pad itself also prevents the firearm from digging into soft soil or groundcover.
The Precision Rifle Deployment was designed with functionality in mind as it folds three ways for storage or carrying by way of its integrated straps, in addition to being able to fold in half to double up on ground protection or rolled up completely to be used as a fore end shooting rest in some field situations.
