New Mobile App Connects SHRM Conference Attendees

March 24, 2011 - PRLog -- A new and innovative mobile application will provide attendees at the Society for Human Resource Management’s 2011 Annual Conference & Exposition with an intuitive program guide and networking capabilities.

The app was developed by ATIV Software for the annual conference of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which brings together thousands of professionals at the world’s largest human resources conference. The free app — which is available now — will offer attendees at the June 26-29 event in Las Vegas access to the conference schedule, speaker information, maps and exhibitor details as well as tools to connect and share information with other conference-goers.

The SHRM 2011 annual conference app is based on ATIV’s EventPilot Plus and is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices, ideal for venues with limited Internet connectivity or cell reception. A widget-like app is available for BlackBerry users, and a mobile-optimized web version allows other device users to easily browse the conference program.
