Watch as 5 youngsters are revealed, who are ambitious and driven individuals hailing from different parts of the nation, the show showcases their attempt to win the rat race of employment.
Meri Toh Lag Gayi…Naukri, an entirely unique concept taking away from the regular soapy way of narrating a story into an interesting narrative riddled with twists, turns and most importantly – a direct connection with the youth. Further adding a feather to its cap, the show will be a first of its kind MOCKUMENTARY format to be attempted in a larger way on Indian Television
JHAKASS, the top youth TV channel is on a look out for hiring 5 youngsters as interns from across the country and has lined up youngsters for the interview.  On the day of the Interviews; the top bosses Raghav Shetty and Harry Sadu with Bala from the HR department interview a variety of youngsters. At the end of a long selection activity the bosses, Raghav and Harry select their top 5 choices as the new interns at Jhakaas TV. The lucky 5 are- Ayaan Walia, Cherry Chawla, Ravi Ranjan, Ami Shah, and Sonika Tomar.

A first day on the job could never have been this entertaining. Even before the induction meeting, each one of them get into amusing situations right at the beginning of the day. Ayaan makes his entry with his zipper down and a complete inability to fix it. Cherry comes in comfortably late. The girls, Ami and Sonika have a tiff over Ami taking up the best cubicle in the office and RR ends up personalizing a computer for himself with pictures of Khajuraho, little aware that he was messing with the CEO, Raghav Shetty’s laptop. The 5 get a major firing from Raghav Shetty and he is about to give them the worst punishment ever.

The punishment is that at the end of their first working day, Raghav throws the interns a party in his cabin. The interns have a fun night only to wake in Raghav’s cabin the next day with a hangover. Raghav later assigns them for the shoot of ‘Sit Scared’.


Mayhem reins the sets as the super five run hay wire to get their jobs done. The day still would have concluded amicably had there not been a mess up with the tapes.

Sonika goofs up and gets fired; for which she asks Raghav for a second chance, he agrees on one condition; that she reveals to the entire office the condition under which she got the job. Just as all the drama is taking place, Anahita Roy, the new programming head is set to make her entry into the office. Anahita declares that no employee could be thrown out without her permission.
Together these 5 youngsters start their naukri at Jhakaas TV. Watch Meri Toh Lag Gayi….Naukri, 28th March onwards, Monday to Thursday, 7pm, only on UTV Bindass
