Concept PR bags ‘Agency of the Year’ Award

March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Hyderabad, 22nd March, 2011: India’s largest independent PR agency Concept PR has been adjudged the Agency of the Year for 2011 at the Public Relations Council of India’s (PRCI) annual Chanakya Awards.
This is the second time that Concept PR has bagged the Agency of the Year Award from PRCI. Earlier the agency has won the award in 2007-08. Concept PR has earlier won the Gold Corporate Collateral award for its case study in 2010, while the agency’s CEO B N Kumar has been inducted into PR Hall of Fame in the previous year.
Nicknaming Concept PR as “Red Adair” of communication for mastering the crisis management skills, PRCI said in its announcement that the agency has successfully used ORM – online reputation management – for regular as well as crisis communication. Pointing out that Concept PR has successfully adopted multi-pronged strategy to manage the twin challenges of gaining and retaining clients, PRCI noted: While others say communicate in times of crisis, Concept PR insists (that) Communicate, always.
Concept PR has also developed a comprehensive media training programme for its clients to educate them on the functioning of the media and the importance of maintaining transparency levels. The exercise has paid off and clients do not ask Concept PR for getting stories killed anymore, PRCI said in the award announcement.
Concept PR CEO B N Kumar received the award from Punjab Education Minister Mr. Sewa Singh Sekhwan, at the PRCI Global Conclave held at Chandigarh.
