By: Isabel Kestner “People online kept the ideas flowing in my head so I could keep writing and all the encouragement kept me from giving up.” Kestner said. In addition to the 100 poems completed during the writing experiment, Just Close Your Eyes and Write…100 Poems in 100 Hours provides readers with a time stamped look at the process of writing the poetry and the influence of those that participated online. “You get to see the thoughts and inspirations behind the poetry. And it shows the fears, frustrations, and hopes along the way.” added Kestner. Isabel Kestner is also the author of two other poetry collections, Strange Things She Heard (2009) and Blackbird Sky (2011).
