Matrox Imaging demonstrates machine vision hardware and software at Automate 2011

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL — At Automate 2011, Matrox Imaging is demonstrating the latest hardware and software for machine vision systems.

Visit the Matrox Imaging booth (McCormick Place North, #428) and see:

  - The Matrox Iris GT color smart camera and a new version of the Matrox Design Assistant flowchart-based integrated development environment (IDE). Matrox Design Assistant 2.4 introduces a set of tools to identify parts, products, and items using color, in addition to assessing quality from color and isolating features using color.

  - The Honeyville Automation Company, a Matrox Imaging Authorized Integrator, demonstrate how a Matrox Iris GT smart camera is used in conjunction with a robot to pick and place parts off a conveyor.

  - The Matrox Supersight imaging computer–with multiple clusters composed of multi-core CPUs and GPUs–perform defect detection on images acquired by the Matrox Radient frame grabber from a high-rate color line-scan camera.

Matrox Imaging will also host 2-hour hands-on workshops on the Matrox Iris GT smart camera and Design Assistant software during Automate 2011. Workshop participants will see for themselves how machine vision applications can be configured and deployed more quickly and easily using Matrox Imaging smart camera and software.
