Newest Golf Clubs Mizuno MP 63 Irons reviews

March 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The Mizuno MP-63 golf iron is the latest evolution of Mizuno’s hugely popular MP range and builds on the success of the MP-62, Mizuno’s most popular tour iron.

By building on the profile and design legacy of the MP-62 Mizuno have sought to create an iron that offers even more in both feel and versatility.

I don't know exactly what Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT) is exactly, but it sure sounds cool.

While developing the MP-63s, Mizuno tapped their tour team to blindly try out various new concepts. The winner, reportedly unanimously, was the "Diamond Muscle" design, the latest in the line of "muscle" themes Mizuno has used in recent years, beginning with the Cut Muscle clubs, continued with the Dual Muscle MP-52 and 62, and last year's Dual Muscle Titanium MP-58 and 68.

One of the primary design goals of the MP-63 was to improve on the feel and playability of the MP-62. So they copied the head size, top line, offset, and sole width, and then set to tuning the sound and feel and enhancing the grind to improve the irons' versatility in shot making. The former involves the aforementioned Harmonic Impact Technology, while the latter primarily has to do with the visible 360° grind on the trailing edge to improve turf interaction.

Mizuno have devoted much time and energy to their research into the sound and feel at impact (called Harmonic Impact Technology) and the Diamond Muscle Design that debuts in the MP-63 golf iron set proved to be the most popular design in blind testing by Mizuno’s tour golfers. The Diamond Muscle Design reinforces the club head from heel to toe and offers enhanced feel and ball control.

A visible 360 degree grind on the sole of the MP-63 offers excellent turf interaction to provide extreme workability and versatility from a variety of lies. To ensure each club can perform to its maximum Mizuno have introduced a reverse flow with larger longer irons and very compact short irons to provide a set that is perfectly balanced in terms of forgiveness and precision.

The Mizuno MP-63 iron is Grain Flow Forged and features modified U-groove that confirm with the 2011 Condition of Competition rules.
