"Gathering Of The Church" To Bring Christians From Around The World To Washington, DC, On '11/11/11'

    A grassroots Christian non-profit organization, named One Church // One Voice, is defying history and centuries of church division to call Christians of all denominations and followings, from around the globe, to gather in worship and in prayer on November 11, 2011: 11/11/11/, in Washington, DC, on the National Mall at 11 AM. The global campaign seeks to bring all denominations of Christians together for a day of fellowship in The Lord, Jesus Christ. The group's National Coordinator, Robert Berry, has set in motion a global Christian 'grapevine' whereby individual invited churches reach out to invite other churches from around the world, but also from 'around the corner,' in their own back yards. The Veterans' Day gathering evokes the original name of the holiday in its theme: "An Armistice with God."

    To get the word out, churches are being contacted and asked to do just that: get the word out. Churches are being encouraged to make contacts with other churches both within and outside their respective denominations.

    The event, which is scheduled for 11 AM to 9 PM, with a two hour site clearing time, will include live worship, as well as several dynamic corporate prayer services, with prayers being offered for our Church, for the world, and for our respective home nations.
