James Lind Institute started onsite Clinical Research Training

March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Many Post Graduate Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses will start in parallel that will have a hard core clinical research and pharmaceutical medicine component along with special emphasis on clinical operations, data management, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, medical writing, and business development. Hands on training on data management software such as Oracle Clinical will be provided for Expert Level Diploma courses in data management. The courses will last for up to 1 year based upon each course. Besides classroom training, most of the course time will be spent in one of the Global Hospitals for hands on training in clinical trial conduct. The course fee will range from approximately 1.5 Lac to 2.5 Lac depending on each course. Admissions will start from 14th January 2011 and continue until March 1st 2011. The courses are expected to start in the middle of March. Candidates who have completed their MBBS, MS, MD, MPharm, BPharm, MTech, BTech, MSc or BSc in any stream, BVSC, BAMS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, nursing graduates may apply for the course.
