| ![]() Webplanner Beta released today by Experience In SoftwareMakers of Project KickStart Unveil New Cloud-Based Project Management Software
This new product from Experience in Software was born from a belief: Deciding on a project management solution should not require a choice between power and simplicity. Webplanner has all the features a professional project manager would look for, such as an easy-to-read adjustable Gantt chart with dependencies and a critical. For those new to project management, Webplanner is very accessible and simple to learn, with on-screen instructions and a clean, intuitive interface. Webplanner will work for just about anyone and any team, regardless of their project scale. It is a particularly great choice for project managers working with staff who do not have time to learn a clunky program and need something that just works. Like Experience in Software’s popular desktop application Project KickStart, Webplanner guides users through a planning wizard, then automatically populates a Gantt chart with the gathered data. With a few simple clicks, users can then: - See the project’s status and recent activity at a glance - Calculate project costs - Organize their schedules - Print out individualized to-do lists and other reports - Track or record progress - Upload relevant documents - Receive email notifications - Work out project details through comments And much more. Residing in the cloud, Webplanner is highly conducive to collaboration. Project data will be safe from local system failure and updates will be instantly available to all team members. Webplanner has been in private beta since October, to a small group of Project KickStart users. Project KickStart users will be happy to know that Webplanner is just as easy to use as Project KickStart and will fully integrate with Project KickStart Pro 5, allowing them to upload their Project KickStart projects and collaborate with their teams on existing projects. Webplanner has plans to integrate with Microsoft Project as well, allowing Microsoft Project users to collaborate on their projects quickly and easily. One of the advantages of being a cloud application is regular updates. Webplanner contains a feedback button in the upper right corner of the screen, allowing beta testers to communicate to the development team what they like, what they don’t like, and what additional things they would like the application to do. # # # About Experience in Software: Through five versions of Project KickStart and one version of Webplanner, Experience in Software has focused on keeping it's project management software intuitive and applicable to users at all levels of project management experience. Experience in Software's clients are planning and managing projects for general business, consulting, IT, government, education, construction, and more. End
