    I purchased this pressure cooker because I can about 80-100 jars of homemade pasta sauce each week, so I was looking for something that would help the process move as quickly and easily as possible. I've used it about 20 times already and it's gone without a hitch each time.

The pot fits 20 pint sized jars as advertised, but for those who haven't been able to squeeze in more than 18, the trick is to put two jars into the center once there is some water in the pot. There is no way you'll be able to accomodate 10 jars per row if you attempt to do it when they are dry. In addition, I have found that 7 quarts of water is the perfect amount of liquid for canning 20 jars in this pot. Hope this helps. :)

    Great size, the price was half of stores, excellent quality, can cook a 20 pound turkey in 25 minutes, falling off the bone, Very easy to use. It's big and barely fits on the stove top (under the microwave/exhaust hood. Measure your space before you order!

    This pressure canner is wonderful for canning soups, chili, and other items that need pressure to can properly. It is easy to use.

There are two improvements that would make it better: a different weight so it would be easier to keep it at a pressure other than 15 pounds, but the gauge is there for that. Also I wish it would hold pints on quarts all the way around. The latch prevents a pint or two on one side.

It is easy to use, easy to clean and the directions are very clear. I am so glad to have this to help keep good food for my family, with recipes they like and no preservatives.
