Mr J S Shin, President & CEO, Samsung South West Asia also handed over Samsung Galaxy tab, the latest convergence device from Samsung, to Vijender Singh Beniwal. The jury while selecting Vijender for this prestigious award, acknowledged his consistent contribution in raising the stature of Indian boxing and his superlative achievement in beating the reigning World Champion to win the Gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games. Samsung India also felicitated the Asian Games medal winners from different sports disciplines both for their Individual and Team performance by presenting them with Samsung products from the Consumer Electronics and Mobile portfolio. All the Individual Gold medal winners were conferred with a 40” Samsung LCD TV, while the Silver medal winners received a 32” Samsung LCD TV. The Bronze Award winners were presented with a 22” Samsung LCD TV by the Company. The winning Teams in Gold, Silver and Bronze category were presented with Samsung Mobiles.
