It is unfortunate that overestimate, because there are actually many ways to save money.

And while I happen to be a member of four of these places, and they are certainly worth it (some more than others), the hype does not help but create false hope for many people outside industry.

And if you do a Google search trying to find information or reviews of these sites, it is unlikely that you will find unrealistic ... just a bunch of "click here to save 90% hype. I tried a lot and the results were pathetic.

But again, I'm not saying that there is very good deals in these auctions. There. But making it sound like now, or bid on an online auction or go to an auction this afternoon, then drive to the beautiful Audi TT 2005 for $ 500 ... zip, zap, zoom, you're done.

I can tell you from experience that this does not happen in the real world. You're getting a lot of Audi TT? Absolutely. But it will probably take time, and will not be practically free.

Then talk reality here. Bids can fit into your strategy for getting a great price on a car. And these auction sites, it may be easier for you. But let's look at the advantages and disadvantages of establishing realistic expectations. So you can be in a better position to decide if it's something you'd like to continue or not.

First, there is a wealth of open auction to the people-first. This means it is likely that you'll need at least a certain amount of patience. Some auctions are quarterly, some months ago and some who are weekly. They learned to make an inventory of cars, it justifies the cost of putting on an auction. And it takes time.

So if you're a bit 'lucky, you probably spent the auction to get your car in the afternoon. I guess what I'm saying is not like visiting the dealership, as you want in one weekend.

Following is the pricing. There will be other bids for customers ... Maybe even some distributors. You will not get a "good", the latest model car for a few hundred dollars. That said, it is not uncommon to have a car to $ 10,000 $ 20,000 to $ 14,000 ... or a $ 15,000 car for $ 7,000 to $ 9,000. You can actually make big purchases below exchange values, and sometimes well below. But do not forget the real cars from Nice to "less than $ 500, as is often the hype.

Is there car for under $ 500? There are, of course. And too often a good buy. They are not the latest model cars.

Then you may have to travel a distance. Auctions can not be right with you. Many auctions are not bidding online. They are in a physical location. So keep in mind that it may be particularly useful.

All it says is true that there are great deals to save money on auctions of public transport. But please be prepared to spend much time with her and pay more than the publicity involved.
