Austin's My Pit Crew Launches Game Changing Service In Car Care Industry

Feb. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Austin, TX based My Pit Crew launched their revolutionary service in Jan. 2011 and according to co-founder Scott Frowiss "the response has been amazing, our customers love the service".

Frowiss and his business partner Artie Chavez, who have known each other since 2007, coincidentally, were at crossroads in their respective careers at the same time in August 2010.  With a limited number of attractive job opportunities at the time, they decided to create their own opportunity.  Acting on a general concept that Chavez had about 10 years ago, together they researched and refined the idea to what it is today.

For a $14.99 "concierge fee" the business will pick up your car, take it for service, wash or detail, then bring it back to the spot you parked, saving you from the chore.  My Pit Crew offers a range of packages including oil changes, maintenance, wash and detail services, all at additional costs. Frowiss said the company gets "very competitive pricing" from the service providers.

Chavez said "We only recommend needed and manufacturer recommended services, we don't buy into the hard up-sell philosophy", “If a service is necessary or manufacturer recommended, absolutely we inform the customer, but only under those circumstances".   Frowiss said “We are on a mission to provide unparalleled customer service and bring confidence back to the vehicle maintenance industry”.

Frowiss said, "In a nutshell, our customers gain free time to do the things that are important to them, rather than waiting at a service center for work to be done.  It is a huge convenience and at the same time they have a buffer that keeps them from being up-sold with unnecessary services".
