Follow on Google News | Grammy Nominee Pastor Shake Anderson To Receive Honors at the Black History Gospel CelebrationOn Friday February 25th at the Black History Gospel Celebration, Grandbury's Mayor Pratt will present Pastor Sam "Shake" Anderson with the "Greatest Contribution Award".
As a Platinum Recording Artist and Grammy Nominee, Shake has worked with many great Christian artist such as Annointed, Crystal Lewis, Bryan Duncan, the Hi Lites, Doc McKenzie, The Highway QC’s, Russ Taff, Nicole Nordeman, Avalon, Donnie McClurkin, and he formed the Grammy winning gospel choir New Breed with Israel Houghton. Shake has also worked on many movies and he has several gold and platinum albums for his work on “Blue Streak”, “Dr. Do Little”, “Boys On the Side”, and “Austin Powers”. Shake has played in some of the greatest concert halls and venues in the world, namely Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium, The Apollo Theatre, Symphony Music Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Heinekin Music Hall, and The Buordone Theatre in Frankfurt Germany. The Black History Gospel Celebration will include Recording Artist and Guest Speakers, such as International Evangelist Dr. Jerry Savelle, Recording Artist Cedric Ford, Pastor Glen Ward, Pastor Milton Pace, Recording Artist Taylor Pace, and "Man of the Hour" Pastor Shake Anderson.
