SHIROCK on The Jimmy Star Show - New Hit Rock Band to Guest February 23 2011

Feb. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Lead vocalists Chuck Shirock and Pap Shirock of new hit band SHIROCK will be featured guests on The Jimmy Star Show live radio show hosted by King of Cool, Jimmy Star along with his Cool Crowd of cohosts to discuss the band, the music, and the entertainment industries at large. The Jimmy Star Show is radio's new hit show, featuring the coolest in music, entertainment, fashion and pop culture, all from a fun industry insider perspective in a completely live, unedited fast-paced two-hour conversational format.  

SHIROCK is a new rock band born out of Nashville, Tennessee USA that is quickly gaining acclaim for their modern, freeing, and expansive songs that speak to social change through tapping into the personal and the individual. Husband and wife team Chuck Shirock (lead vocals, guitar) and Pap Shirock (lead vocals, keyboard) joined with Adam Gatchel (drums), Kevin Whitsett (bass guitar) and Evan Weatherford (lead guitar) for a total sound that is bold while emotional, in a total package of talent and do it yourself aesthetic.

Recently Chuck and Pap Shirock partnered with the band's manager to launch The Movement Group to house everything that SHIROCK does. In turn, The Movement Group partnered with Sony, RED Distribution and Creative Entertainment Network (CEN) to launch the label division of the company in order to release their debut album, Everything Burns (Deluxe). SHIROCK just released their first single New Solution in January 2011 with fervent fan and industry response. Everything Burns features 20 songs along with the debut music video for “New Solution” and will be released digitally on February 22, 2011.

Along with their music, Chuck and Pap Shirock have launched Everything Burns, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to oversee high school and college chapters aimed at encouraging and equipping young people to ‘live for things that matter,’ by making a practical difference in their communities and around the globe. They also expanded their Nashville based clothing line, Irock Clothing, which features shirts, jackets, bags, and accessories, and has sold out at every boutique that carries it. Their sound combined with this endless creativity and world consciousness has prompted SHIROCK to be compared to bands like U2 and Muse and featured by MTV, ABC, and NBC television networks, as well as Hollister Co. fashion stores worldwide and Delta Airlines international and domestic flights.
