Like the name goes, it is available only in the black colour, which only adds to the style of the phone. The camera in the phone is a five megapixel unit that will be capable of taking great quality images along with the ability to record 720 p HD videos. There is a two megapixel camera just above the touch screen display that can be used for video chatting.

The 3G connectivity option and the Wi-Fi option will certainly help in the video calling ability of the phone because they will be able to support much higher data speeds. The social networking integration and other applications will be available as default with the LG Optimus Black. Initially, it will be having the 2.2 version of the Android operating system, but the company has provided the ability for users to update the 2.3 version of the Android once it is in their hands. The LG Optimus Black is getting ready for UK launch in March, but the prices have not been revealed yet.
