Samsung Nexus S (Google Nexus S) vs HTC 7 Trophy – Smartphone Comparison

The Samsung Nexus S comes with Gingerbread, the fastest version of Android to date, pre-installed. Gingerbread takes some of the most stand-out features of the OS – such as multi-tasking – and builds upon them, adding a better user interface, a new and improved keyboard and near field communication support (NFC).

The HTC Trophy 7 runs the Windows Phone 7 operating system. There is no HTC skin on the OS, but there is HTC Hub, which provides a range of Apps and services for you to download.

The screen of the Samsung Nexus S is a little bigger than the HTC Trophy 7's, measuring 4 inches.

The Trophy 7 has a perfectly adequate 3.8 inch touchscreen and has a super fast 1GHz processor making it a strong contender as one of the best gaming handsets around – well worth considering if mobile gaming is a big part of your life. It's also XBox Live compatible.

The HTC 7 Trophy also offers an amazing multimedia experience. SRS WOW HD brings virtual sound to your handset, while Zune player enables you to download your favourite music, movies and TV shows. In terms of weight, the Samsung weighs in at 129g while the HTC is 140g. The Samsung is a little larger, measuring 124 x 63 x 11mm while the HTC's vital stats are 119 x 62 x 12mm.

When it comes to taking photographs, the Samsung has rear and front-facing cameras.
