By: Camperworld Times have changed since the 70's. Manufacturers are making larger and larger RV's to meet the needs of outdoor-hungry enthusiasts. Toy-haulers allow you to carry your ATV's, snowmobiles, golf equipment, hunting and fishing gear, etc. right in the back of the rig. The RV's now have 2 to 3 air-conditioners, 2 gas fireplaces, 2 to 3 bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, big screen TV's, satellite TV, etc. These types of amenities were unheard of in the early 70's and 80's. RV's have even grown to an astounding 48 feet. Due to all of these changes, it became necessary for Camperworld to upgrade its facilities. New types of campsites called pull-thrus were added to accommodate the larger rigs. Some of Camperworld's pull-thrus are 40 feet wide by 60 feet long. And do you think that 15 /20 amp service is enough for these behemoths? Camperworld upgraded all of its resorts to 50 amp service, which should handle the largest rigs available today. More and more people are buying RV's and going camping because of the current economic crisis. It's cheaper to go camping in your own backyard than it is to buy plane tickets for everyone and fly to Disneyland, or to drive cross-country staying at expensive hotels along the way, to visit relatives. Camperworld members, 70% of whom are on fixed income, love the benefits available with their Camperworld membership. They pay a nominal maintenance fee every January and then they can go visit their parks anytime they want. No reservations are required, which means that families don't have to plan in January where they want to go throughout the year. Also, when Camperworld members visit their parks they don't pay any extra fees or add-ons. Their dues pay for unlimited access to their resorts year round. And since Camperworld members don't need reservations, they can go at the last minute. For example, if they had planned on visiting some family over the weekend and those plans fell through, they could simply pack up their RV and head to Camperworld. Camping has become simple again. And who wouldn't love camping in Utah for a very small yearly fee? It's a no brainer. Camperworld resorts offer many activities that you won't find at State or public campgrounds. One of the things members love most about Camperworld are their restrooms. Sound odd? Have you ever been into a public or State restroom? Our members love clean restrooms with tiled floors, vanities, hot and cold running water, showers and locker rooms. And the restrooms are cleaned 4 and 5 times a day by our onsite managers and maintenance staff. Other activities and amenities include picnic pavilions, fire pits and picnic tables at every site, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, dutch oven cook-offs, movies in the park, fishing, hunting, swimming, snowmobiling, scuba diving, ATVing, golf, hiking, wi-fi, bingo... The list goes on and on. That's why our members love to visit their resorts. There is always plenty to do it's difficult to beat the cost.
