Feb. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Mobile security threats, increased dramatically in recent years the proliferation of Internet-enabled wireless devices such as smart phones and tablets are new opportunities for cybercriminals, security software maker McAfee (MFE.N) said. His fourth Threat Report, released Tuesday.

McAfee said that the number of new pieces of mobile malware that was found in 2010 grew by 46 percent over 2009′s level. “The more people use the Internet for expanding the pool equipment – PC, tablet, smartphone or Internet TV – Web-based threats continue to grow in size and sophistication,” he said.

McAfee, which bought Intel (INTC.O) and 7.68 billion dollars, said he expected to PDF and Adobe Flash manufacturer (ADBE.O) to remain a favorite of hackers this year, when he has passed Microsoft (MSFT . O), the popularity of a target in 2010.This is because the trend of greater popularity in the Adobe mobile and non-Microsoft environments, combined with the widespread use of PDF files to distribute malware.
