Brandon Smith is a new country artist in Southeast Texas, from Humble, TX.  

Brandon received the best birthday present to date in 2010 – 5 hours of studio time to record his first live demo.  This collection of 7 songs can be heard at his website www.brandonsmithband.com or at Reverbnation.

He can’t wait for more time in the studio as he has many more songs ready to record.  Because of the positive reception received from his fans and peers to his demo and more notably live performances, he is now full time in music pursuing a dream held since his very early years.

A few words from Brandon:

“Hey guys, I am Brandon Smith.  I look forward to sharing my music with you soon!  I am a single act now, touring throughout southeast and central Texas.  My performances typically include 10 to 20 songs, depending on the venue, whether the setting is a club, private party, rodeo or festival.  

I am ‘Texas Country’ performing my own songs with musical focus on catchy & original lyrics, outstanding guitar and other musical leads.

My music has a unique sound with a touch of traditional country music and a heavy Texas music emphasis.  A partial list of artist that have influenced me along the way include Johnny Cash, Roger Creager, Randy Rogers, Kimberly Kelly, Cody Canada, Ryan Bingham, James McMurtry, Robert Earl Keen and Ray Wylie Hubbard.

My interests include writing and recording new material and playing venues for music lovers.

I started playing music at the age of eleven and haven't looked back since. Teaching myself the extensive fundamentals of guitar, songwriting and history of music I developed an ultimate love and passion for music. Growing up, people around me never really understood my total affection for music and the genre of country. It wasn't until recently I decided to put my best foot forward and dive head first into the music industry on a full time basis.

I taught myself how to play several musical instruments, with a few exceptions. These include guitar (acoustic, electric), mandolin, banjo, resonator, trumpet, harmonica, and keyboard.”
