Australian Olympic champion Cathy Freeman has revealed that she was expecting her first child and said he was “overwhelmed” by the pregnancy, which had led to diabetes in families.

Feb. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Australian Olympic champion Cathy Freeman has revealed that she was expecting her first child and said he was “overwhelmed” by the pregnancy, which had led to diabetes in families.

Freeman, a sprinter with native legendary four gold medals in the Commonwealth and Olympic title to his name, said.she was safely through the first quarter. “I was overwhelmed when I saw the ultrasound and hearing its heart beat.”

Freeman, 37, told New Idea magazine.”I’m totally lost in love with this baby,” he added. “I think it’s going to take my breath when we met.” However, said the former world 400 meters champion pregnancy has been bittersweet, triggering diabetes.

Which left himself insulin injections four times a day.”It was a shock at first,” Freeman said of the diagnosis. “Being an elite athlete, was very healthy and I did very well. I was one of the strongest women in the world. And then, suddenly, her body somewhat disappointing.

It is as if his pride is hurt . Freeman, who is married to James Murch and financial retirement to compete in 2003, said doctors had diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, but said he could leave after the birth. “So we’ll just wait and see,” said Freeman.
