Prior to the show Mom Tri could be seen socializing with the attendees, the majority of them from the local expatriate community. Mom Tri received many requested to have classical music concerts a regular event at Villa Royale, which was once his private home. The quartet played two compositions, the first one was by Joseph Hayden, followed by a piece composed by H.E. Adm. M.L. Usni Pramoj during the turmoil in Bangkok in 2010. “The first movement portrays rural life, a life by no means luxurious but adequate in its simplicity. In the second movement, demonstrators sweep over Bangkok and now occupy key areas of the city. Government attempts at peaceful negotiations are brushed aside. Violence breaks out. The third movement expresses an outpouring of grief for the hurt inflicted upon this lovely nation. The last movement does not tell a story because such has yet to come to pass. Instead, it projects the hope that Thais will come together to rebuild the nation. That we shall once again be united in peace!” explains H.E. Adm. M.L. Usni Pramoj H.E. Admiral M.L.
