max.md and eCast Team to Provide HIE / NHIN Solution

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- The Morris-Somerset Independent Practice Association recently signed a contract with eCast Corporation of Raleigh, NC  and max.md of Fort Lee, NJ to provide a SaaS health information exchange which includes an operational National Health Information Network solution.  eCast Software will provide a SaaS HIE offering and max.md will provide the National Health Information Network piece of the infrastructure.

max.md pioneered the development of this NHIN infrastructure four years ago.  The push technology uses a segment of the internet, 
the .md top level domain, as a secure tranport layer to link all of the constituencies.  Physicians, patients, hospitals, and business associates can communicate in full uncompromised security.
