Jan. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- LINDON, UTAH — AccessData, the pioneer of digital investigations and litigation support, today announced they are showcasing their AD eDiscovery platform, as well as their enhancements to AD Summation technology at LegalTech New York 2011. LegalTech New York 2011 (www.legaltechshow.com) is being held January 31-February 2 at The New York Hilton Hotel, New York. The company will be exhibiting at booth #1303/1305. AccessData is the leading provider of forensically sound data acquisition products, and its eDiscovery technology addresses each phase of the litigation lifecycle.

The company’s in-house solution, AD eDiscovery, addresses everything from litigation hold to the generation of load files for common review tools, and includes both early data assessment and early case assessment capabilities. Unlike other solutions, AD eDiscovery natively connects to popular structured data repositories, eliminating the need for an additional index during collection and processing. This is just one of the ways in which the product stands out from the competition. As part of the overall AccessData / Summation development roadmap, the company will soon be launching the ability to directly load data into Summation.

Highlights for discussion at LegalTech include the following:

•   Support for structured data repositories…
o   Broadest support on the market for Symantec’s Enterprise Vault
o   Road-tested support for Oracle URM
o   SharePoint: AD eDiscovery collects the underlying data and takes an MHT snapshot of the site, so it can be reviewed in context using the product’s embedded native file viewer.
o   Additional data repositories include OpenText, Documentum, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and FileNet

•   AD eDiscovery has the most comprehensive support for review platform load files.

•   Current clients are processing terabytes of complex data per day with AD eDiscovery’s distributed processingwithout paying per-gig fees.

•   In comparison testing performed by clients, AD eDiscovery processed and identified up to 20 percent more ESI than other solutions.

The company is also the maker of the award-winning Summation product line, which enables legal review and case management. During the conference AccessData will be showcasing the enhancements made to AD Summation CaseVantage.

CaseVantage is a database-driven, full-featured legal review software platform that provides secure Internet access to case data and review tools using nothing more than a standard Web browser. It has an intuitive web-based interface, and is the ideal legal review platform for working with distributed teams and outside parties.

Since the acquisition of Summation in 2010, AccessData has been enhancing the Summation product line to bring innovative advancements to the eDiscovery marketplace. In the coming weeks, CaseVantage will be available as single-server, behind-the-firewall solution. This compact footprint solution is perfect for mid-sized firms and service providers.

CaseVantage now features:
•   Fully integrated near native viewer
•   Persistent hit highlighting and search within the near native viewer
•   TIFF on-the-fly capability
•   Security levels for redactions, annotations, highlights and user views

“LegalTech New York is a great event for us to showcase our commitment to enhancing Summation technology, as well as the advanced capabilities of our AD eDiscovery product,” stated Brian Karney, President and COO of AccessData. “We promised the industry that we would bring innovative advancements to the eDiscovery market, and we are holding true to our word. We look forward to receiving insight and feedback from our clients at LegalTech.”
